Today, 20th of May, we are celebrating the International Clinical Trials Day.
In León Research, we are celebrating it by putting on a wig as James Lind and his famous trial to find an effective treatment for scurvy, his most famous trial back in 1747. This meant the foundation for modern clinical research.
Clinical Trials day is an opportunity to increase the awareness of how important is research to health care and the importance of all people involved in a clinical trial to work together in order to obtain a high-quality and relevant research. We want everybody to be conscious of the importance for all the people involved in a clinical research specially for patients.
